We built Rezzo because we lived the problem.

Before Rezzo, we ran a restaurant and catering business for 10 years. And if you've ever run one, you know the drill, the phone doesn't care what time it is. Getting a call at midnight for an "urgent" catering order was just part of the job. Not exactly fun, but you answer it, because that's business.

Then there's Friday night. Full restaurant, one staff member on because wages don't stretch to two, and somehow you're still expected to answer the phone for a reservation or "do you have a table" while you're mid-service and slammed. It's not that the calls don't matter. It's that answering them shouldn't need a whole extra person.

That got us thinking — if we had this problem, every small business in Australia probably has it too. So we built the fix.

We're not here to replace you or your team. Rezzo's not about AI taking over — it's about giving you back the time and headspace to actually run your business, and still have a life outside it.

Australian small business has always run on the back of the battler — the ones who open early, close late, and do whatever it takes to keep the doors open. That grind built this country's businesses, but it shouldn't come at the cost of your own life. Working smarter isn't giving up the hustle — it's making sure the hustle actually pays off.

We're not some overseas outfit slapping a kangaroo and a "G'day" on the homepage to look local. We're actually Aussies, based right here in Perth, and we've stood behind the counter ourselves, answering the phone mid-rush on a Friday night, taking bookings, fielding the "urgent" calls at all hours.

That's the difference. We know how Aussies actually talk — no scripts, no forced "how may I assist you today," none of that robotic call-centre energy. We know the difference between a fair dinkum enquiry and someone just kicking tyres. We know Australian business culture, we know the laws, and we know every state's a little different — a café in Bondi expects a different vibe to a mechanic in Fremantle, and both are a world away from a tradie in outback Queensland.
